Are you passionate about agile transformation and looking to make a real impact in a forward-thinking organisation? We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Scrum Master to join our innovative IT team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to help us deliver high-quality, impactful changes across our systems and services.

As a Scrum Master, you’ll be at the heart of our agile journey—facilitating delivery across the full software development lifecycle while championing continuous improvement, team collaboration, and value-driven results.

Main job responsibilities:

  • Facilitate agile delivery across all IT disciplines, supporting teams through the full software delivery cycle—from research and analysis to design, development, testing, and release
  • Coach and motivate cross-functional teams to continuously improve delivery practices, increasing velocity, quality, and predictability
  • Establish and maintain flow across teams by identifying and eliminating blockers, hand-offs, and dependencies
  • Apply agile frameworks and lean methodologies to support teams in becoming self-sufficient, sustainable, and outcome-focused
  • Support the design and implementation of effective agile ways of working, using tools and data to track progress against daily and sprint goals
  • Guide teams in breaking down, estimating, and delivering work that adds value frequently and consistently
  • Collaborate with colleagues across IT and the wider organisation to ensure changes deliver high-quality, predictable results
  • Contribute to the wider adoption of agile, including facilitating training and supporting other teams on their agile journey
  • Develop a solid understanding of the organisation’s tools, infrastructure, and systems to provide informed delivery support

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Scrum Master certification and/or 3+ years of demonstratable experience in a change delivery role
  • A proven track record of leading agile transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes
  • Experience in positioning and selling the origins of agile, using case studies and anecdotal examples to build interest, credibility and buy-in
  • Experience of working with multiple cross-discipline agile software development teams with the ability to use a range of agile methodologies, tools and ceremonies
  • A thorough understanding and experience of a range of agile approaches to deliver software predictably and in line with estimates
  • Experience working with multiple software teams using a variety of agile tools and ceremonies
  • The ability to solve key delivery issues including development and QA estimates, measuring progress against these estimates and continuously improving these aspects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of writing reports and making recommendations
  • Experience of conducting analysis and planning skills.

What’s in it for you?

In return, you will receive a competitive salary, 27 days annual leave (plus Christmas shut down), a defined benefit pension scheme, health cash plan, a range of shopping and leisure discounts.

We are output focused and flexible and believe in giving colleagues the right balance of autonomy and support to enable them to work to their full potential. Despite the high expectation for performance and delivery, we are committed to ensuring colleagues have a healthy work-life balance and able to work in agile ways which support them.
