Salary: £43,022 - £45,111 per annum (plus £1,000 car allowance and excellent benefits)

 

Location: Walsall, West Midlands

Contract: Full Time Permanent

Are you experienced in delivering high volume responsive repairs and maintenance primarily via in-house trade colleagues supported by external contract arrangements?

Can you ensure high standards of health and safety are observed at all times by direct teams and contractors?  Are you a leader focused on delivering positive outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction?  If so, this role is for you. 

Our Home Maintenance Services Response Team are seeking a new Repairs Team Leader who will be responsible for ensuring repairs are carried out effectively, to a high standard and within timescales. 

We’ll need you to have a BTEC/ HNC in Building studies (or equivalent experience and be willing to work towards) as well as a strong awareness of legislation governing the construction / building industry.  You will understand what it takes to deliver high levels of performance from the direct team you manage and the supporting contractors you instruct. 

You’ll need to thrive working in a fast paced, busy environment and be able to manage and prioritise a varied workload, from managing colleagues, to responding to complaints, ensuring works comply with regulatory and legal requirements, solving materials queries, measuring and ordering materials and much, much more.
