Salary: £30,168 – £31,777 per annum plus excellent benefits
Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Contract: Full Time, 37 hours per week. 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
(A minimum of 2 working days will be required in the office as part of the hybrid working model)

We have an exciting opportunity for a People Services Assistant to join our People Services team providing a responsive, customer-centre service to a range of stakeholders.

Main job responsibilities:
Acting as a first point of contact for enquiries into the People Services team you will:
- Provide high quality, timely and accurate administrative and operational support to a wide range of stakeholders
- Provide administrative support to the People Services team, including recruitment and employee relations cases.
- Maintain effective systems of work and a high-quality data, accurately completing all transactional HR activity, including starters, movers and leavers.
- Provide first-line HR advice and guidance in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and practises that comply with relevant legislation
- Assist in delivery of workshops/induction events
We're looking for someone who has:
- Achieved or working towards a CIPD Level 3 foundation qualification
- Recent and relevant experience in a similar type of role with working knowledge of HR best practice.
- The ability to use own initiative, manage own time and priorities whilst demonstrating a flexible and can-do proactive approach
- The ability to analyse information and data, pay close attention to detail, and make judgements on issues presented.
- Good IT skills which include the ability to confidently use all Microsoft Office applications and confidently.
- Efficient in using multiple systems simultaneously.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
