Salary: £25,948–£33,989 (depending on experience)

We’re inviting aspiring electricians to attend our Electrical Apprenticeship Open Day in Walsall, it’s an opportunity to find out what the role is really like and what it takes to succeed.
Earn while you learn, gain a Level 3 qualification, and build a long-term career with whg with hands-on experience.
We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic and resilience as this won’t be a walk in the ‘spark’ (walk in the park, get it ;).
You’ll need GCSEs (or predicted) grade 4/C in Maths and English or be willing to complete Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English alongside your apprenticeship.

At the Open Day you’ll:
- Learn how our Electrical Apprenticeship programme works
- Understand what a typical day looks like on the job
- Meet members of our electrical team
- Ask honest questions about pay, training and career progression
- Find out how you can progress to becoming a fully qualified Electrician
Whether you’re leaving school, finishing college, or looking for a career change if you’re motivated and ready to build a future in a skilled trade, we want to meet you.
Also in attendance at the Open Day will be our Employment and Skills Team, so if you’re a whg customer and want to talk to someone about your application then please come along.
